How to Be More Creative with Lucid Dreaming

Hello, and welcome back to Simply Lucid where I help inspire, educate, and connect conscious creators and magic makers so they can easily share their unique gifts with the world!

In this video, I will try to answer the following questions:

  • How can you start a lucid dreaming practice?

  • What do you need to start a lucid dreaming practice?

  • What herbs will help you lucid dream?

  • How can you remember your dreams better?

Let’s go!

1. Sleep Well

Go to bed intentionally. Turn off the TV. Maybe pop on some binaural beats. Make sure you feel safe and secure. Smudge your space! Be aware of how different foods, drink, and locations affect your sleep flow. Take melatonin, if you have to.

2. F%$& With Mugwort

Make it your best friend. This has BY FAR been the most helpful herb in my personal lucid dreaming practice. Feel free to mix it with lavender. Make it into tea. Smoke it. Take some with a tincture.

3. Keep a Dream Journal

This symbolically represents your intention to become more conscious and aware. This is also where you can record the gnarly things that happen to you on the astral plane.

4. Know Your Dreamsign(s)

A dreamsign is a recurring phenomenon that will happen in your dreams, inviting you to realize you're dreaming. For me, a dream sign is: having my teeth fall out. At this point, I have two choices: freak out OR remember I’m dreaming and get out of there! Recognizing your dream signs takes practice, but once you develop this awareness, you’ll become lucid waaaay more.

5. Read Exploring the World of Lucid Dreaming by Stephen LaBerge

This book contains numerous, scientifically-backed exercises and tips to empower and inspire you as a lucid dreamer : )

6. Be Patient!

Like with any other practice or hobby, take your time with developing your lucid dreaming skills.

In ConclusionIn this video, you should have learned…

  • Some helpful habits for your lucid dreaming practice (keep a journal)

  • What herb(s) you can use to help you with lucid dreaming (mugwort)

  • How you can remember your dreams better (dreamsigns)

  • How you can start your practice (Now! Just do it!)

Cheers to the journey of making the unconscious conscious! I hope this video has helped inform & inspire my dreamers out there. Stay tuned for more lucid dreaming videos!
